Tabernacle of Faith was established on January 8, 1993, in the home of its earliest members by Corine W. Claiborne under the leadership of Rev. A.J. Thompson. Starting with eight members, the church quickly grew and moved through several locations before settling at its current home at 2030 Yale Street in North Las Vegas in 1997.
In June 2011, Pastor Corine W. Claiborne was consecrated as the first female Bishop in the state of Nevada, marking a historic milestone and ushering in a season of growth and community impact. In 2017, Reverend Fredrick A. Johnson, Sr. was consecrated as Senior Pastor, and Bishop Claiborne transitioned to the role of Overseer.
Through the years, countless lives have been transformed by the power of God through worship, teaching, and outreach. Tabernacle of Faith remains committed to its mission of spiritual growth and service, and we look forward to all that God will continue to do in and through this ministry.
